Content Batching 101: How We Create a Month of Social Media in One Afternoon

Step 1: Start with your pillars

Pick three or four content buckets your brand always talks about. For us, that’s practical tips, behind-the-scenes moments, client wins, and a little personality. Pillars turn the terrifying blank calendar into a fill-in-the-blank exercise.

Step 2: Write every caption first

Don’t stop to design or shoot. Just write. Twelve to sixteen captions in one sitting, pillar by pillar. Momentum is everything, and captions are always the bottleneck.

Step 3: Shoot everything in one session

One hour, a clean corner of your house, and a couple of outfit swaps can generate a month of photos and reels. You don’t need a studio. A simple ring light with a tripod is the difference between looks like a hostage video and looks intentional.

Step 4: Schedule it all
